This meeting was the first meeting of Winter Quarter 2021. We were all super excited to continue working on our project again in our two subteams: Chemical Analysis and Physical Design. We also welcomed new members, Taylor and Graham, to the team! Check out our super cool team below! Here is what the Physical Design team worked on: 1. Introduced new agenda for Winter Quarter! We will be working in pairs to design our own version of the filter using MidPac 2020 constituents. Every meeting, each group will discuss their progress! Once we collect all the data, we will be implementing everyone's results to create one final filter for the project. 2. Thinking about filter items to buy (with reimbursement!) Here is what the Chemical Analysis team worked on: 1. Reviewed and updated our chemical analysis kits. Although we are still waiting on a few items from the university, we are hopeful to be able to send out the kits (+ snacks) to the chem team by the next meeting (1/30/2021). Check them out here! 2. Played a Kahoot trivia game to learn about our chemical analysis kits, wastewater treatment processes, MidPac 2020 project guidelines, and fun wastewater treatment facts! CONGRATS to Brandon, Delbert, and Freesia for their podium places! They will each receive an extra snack as their prize :) Check out the questions and answers to the Kahoot below!

Our next meeting will be 1/30/2021 at 7:00 PM PST! See you then! New members are always welcome as well :) We are also planning on updating our social media and wanted to make it more inclusive with our members! We will be doing officer, chemical team, and physical team spotlights for our audience to get to know all our hard working members! Also, please take any pictures when you receive your kits and/or filter materials so that we can post on IG about what each team is up to!
